Joan of Arc Video

tell your friends...
Twelve years ago, the Flaming Lips had 50 car stereos playing differently arranged parts to songs in a parking garage to make a mutated symphony. Tim Kinsella just took himself and a guitar to a Salt Lake City parking garage to record the title track to Joan of Arc's newest Polyvinyl album _Boo Human_, this is ABOUT a mutated species. It's a symphony of sliding and aching and the way that the empty -- though seemingly still partially active -- parking garage helps emphasize the hollowness of the sentiment is pertinent. Topping it off is a short discussion about M.C. Escher at the outset. -- Sean Moeller

love this site. X
I can’t get past the fact that if you put a beanie on ‘im, he’d bear striking resemblance to Peter Tork- not that there’s anything wrong with that.
The only problem is that Mike Nesmith is the one that wore the toque on The Monkees
