There is one week until the night of the devils and witches, the night of the dead -- Halloween -- and this video, shot exclusively for Daytrotter by Julian Acosta in Utah in 2007, shows Portland band Menomena encountering an afternoon of ghoulish ambush. They are brutally accosted by a ferocious blue ninja, a menacing pink princess and a terrifying grim reaper and they are blasted with the most diabolical silly string known to the earth. I love this… it’s stuff like this that make Menomena such a fun band…. and the kids are so cute… and the bands not bad either!
